Agent FAQ

What does a DraftDing agent do?
You take over abandoned dynasty teams and manage them competitively through the offseason and potentially for the full regular season on. Your job is to improve the roster, stabilize the team, and prepare it for resale to a permanent manager.

Is this paid? How does agent compensation work?
Yes. Agents are paid 25 dollars upfront per team, plus bonuses based on how long they manage the team and whether they complete a successful handoff. Extra pay includes loyalty bonuses, handoff bonuses, high complexity bonuses, and referral bonuses.

What kind of bonuses are there and what do they mean?
DraftDing agents can earn a variety of bonuses based on their actions and impact:

The Handoff Bonus is given when you successfully transition a team to a new permanent manager.

The Short-Term Assignment Bonus applies when you manage a team briefly before it is sold. The amount depends on your agent tier.

The Mini Handoff Honus is awarded if a team is reassigned within two weeks of being placed with you.

The High Complexity Bonus rewards agents who take over unclaimed or very difficult teams that have remained available for too long.

The Referral Bonus is available when you refer a permanent buyer who fully pays and manages the team.

Each bonus is built to recognize effort, commitment, and contributions to keeping leagues healthy and running strong.

How much do DraftDing agents get paid?

DraftDing agents are paid per team they manage, with pay based on league complexity, roster condition, and how long the team remains under care. Agent pay grows year over year as we expand and as agents gain experience. Top-performing agents may take on 10 to 20+ teams over time and earn real side income based on volume and performance. DraftDing agents are paid per team, with pay growth through tier progression, and bonuses. Most agents make $30 to $80 per team total, which includes base pay plus bonuses for successful handoffs, complex rebuilds, or extended assignments. Pay increases over time as agents gain experience and take on more leagues.

What if I end up winning the league that I am an agent for?

If you win a league while acting as an agent, you are entitled to any prizes or payouts the league awards to its champion, just like any other manager. Your role as an agent does not limit your ability to compete, and any winnings are yours to keep.

How do I sign up for teams?

We use SignUpGenius.com to manage team assignments. You do not need to create an account. Just enter your name, email, and claim the team you want. It’s quick, secure, and helps us keep everything organized on our end.

Do I need to be a fantasy football expert?
You should have strong dynasty football knowledge and know how to work within platforms like Sleeper, MFL, Fantrax, yahoo etc. You don’t have to be perfect, but you should be active, confident with trades, and willing to learn.

How long am I responsible for a team?
Until the team is officially sold. This might take a few weeks or a full season and offseason. If no buyer is found, you can continue managing for extra pay or step away with proper notice before April.

Can I keep the team if I like it?
Yes. Agents at Tier 3 and above can buy out the team at a discounted rate, once approved.

Can I take a break from being an agent if life gets busy?
Yes. You can pause your agent status at any time if you need a break. When paused, you won’t receive new team assignments, but your progress and tier level will remain saved. When you’re ready to return, just let us know and we’ll resume your agent status with the same tier and eligibility as before.

What’s expected of me as an agent?
You are expected to:

Actively manage trades and waivers

Submit milestone forms when requested

Improve the team’s value and direction

Maintain a professional tone with league members

Communicate with DraftDing if anything comes up

Will my milestones be adjusted based on the team's direction?

Yes. All milestones are aligned with the team's specific category. A Full Rebuild is evaluated very differently than a Compete or Add Value roster. Your progress will always be measured by how much you improve the team based on where it started and what direction it’s on. You are never expected to hit the same benchmarks for every team. The focus is on meaningful progress, smart roster decisions, and long-term value.

Is this a full-time job?
No. This is a flexible side opportunity perfect for experienced dynasty managers who want to support the community and get paid to do what they love.
