AGENT SUPPORT and league stability

What do agents do?
Agents temporarily manage orphaned teams. They improve roster value, make strategic moves, keep teams competitive, and prepare for a permanent handoff to a new manager.

How long does unplanned coverage last?
Coverage begins once payment is received and continues through the rest of the current season, the entire upcoming offseason, and through the next rookie draft in April.

What if an agent leaves mid-rebuild?
We’ll prioritize getting a new agent in quickly. Your league stays covered through the original term regardless.

How many agents can be in a league?

8 to 10 teams - 1 agent

12 to 14 teams - 2 agents

16 to 20 teams - 3 agents

22to 32 teams - 4 agents

Additional agents are not permitted beyond these caps.

What if an agent is already managing the team, the league renews, and no buyer is found?
Your payment at that point covers active labor, not buy-in protection. That agent will continue managing the team through the next regular season and offseason up until April. If no new manager is found by then, you can decide whether to renew again or manage it internally.

Does unplanned coverage include buy-in support?
Yes, if needed. If an agent is assigned to the team, DraftDing covers the buy-in using LeagueSafe. If your league renews service in the next term, buy-ins become the responsibility of the league moving forward.
